Educational Facilitator
I lead the Third Grade Team through their literacy analysis data to determine which areas of critical need should be focuses on for remediation. At the following meeting we would rewrite curriculum to that would address those specific skills.
The PLC the team discusses how we can best support our students in building the skills to improve their reading achievement, grow in these standards, and support their confidence. In an effort to build student skills, as teachers we are also coaches, and to help our students strengthen their active reading skills, we will focus on the following areas:
Literal and inferential levels of comprehension
Analysis level of comprehension
Metacognitive awareness
Text Structures
